Your responsibilities

The candidate is responsible for the business development cycle of new businesses that Erajaya will bring into its verticals in either Food and Nourishment or Active lifestyle. This includes market analysis of the new businesses’ Total Addressable Market in Indonesia all the way to the level of analyzing the Total Obtainable Market that Erajaya can capture with reasonable aggressive forecast

The candidate will be directly involved in Deal Sourcing and Pipeline Management by building and maintaining an “opportunity pipeline” (coming from BOD/network and outbound scouting). Candidate will also map white spaces and shortlist high-potential brands (Global + APAC + SEA). Candidate will define an initial business case on: Why now, Why us, and How we win

The candidate will also be responsible in creating the financial projection of the business, working closely with the business units, to create future cash flows, profit margin projections (gross and net) and calculate the ROI of the business and how it will affect Erajaya’s total profit margin

Strategic Relationship Management: Adept at developing Go-to-Market strategies with partners within the business units, and facilitating relationships between the brand principles and all the teams involved within Erajaya

The candidate will help drive the conversation around Partnership Structuring Model (e.g distribution, franchise, JV, licensing) and drive term sheet drafting with cross functional alignment (e.g Legal, Finance, Tax, SCM, Ops)

PMO: Responsible for integration strategy, planning, and execution by providing project management support and executive communications

Gain and develop extensive industry knowledge in which our business units operate, including current market trends, future market trends, and competitor landscape. Identify new opportunities in retail space to drive profitability

• Job Requirements
• A bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM, Economics/Business, and Finance. An MBA degree will be considered as a strong asset

Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Strategy Consulting, Business Development, or Finance (e.g investment banking, private equity, corporate finance)

Strong knowledge of business development cycle and creation of an investment pitch deck

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across functions and levels. Being able to succinctly crystalized key ideas and communicate said ideas to key stakeholders is a must

Strong analytical and data analysis skills. Expertise in structuring, evaluating, and synthesizing information to generate insights and solve complex problems, and NOT simply present data from findings is a must

Ability to present ideas and analyses clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing (English and Bahasa). Being able to communicate in Mandarin is a plus

• Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders, including senior leadership and external parties
• High numerical and financial proficiency. Strong deck building and storytelling in written form (e.g PPT deck, investment thesis)
