position that plays a critical strategic role in overseeing all information technology operations for our bonded zone company. As IT Manager, you will be responsible for directing the technology infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and driving digital transformation initiatives that support our business objectives. This role reports to senior management and is essential in maintaining the competitive edge of our organisation through effective technology management and innovation.

• Key responsibilities
• Overseeing the day-to-day management of all IT systems, infrastructure, and network operations to ensure optimal performance and security
• Developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with bonded zone regulations and compliance requirements
• Managing IT budgets, procurement of technology resources, and cost optimisation initiatives
• Leading and supervising the IT team, including recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development
• Planning and executing technology upgrades, system migrations, and infrastructure improvements
• Ensuring data security, disaster recovery, and business continuity protocols are in place and regularly tested
• Liaising with external vendors and service providers to maintain service level agreements and support contracts
• Maintaining compliance with customs regulations, data protection laws, and industry-specific technology standards applicable to bonded zones
• Providing strategic technology recommendations to senior management to support business growth and operational efficiency
• Managing IT support for all business units and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues
• What we're looking for
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in IT management roles, with progressive responsibility in managing IT teams and infrastructure
• Proven experience managing IT operations within regulated environments or bonded zones is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of network architecture, systems administration, cybersecurity, and data management
• Certification in IT management (such as ITIL, CISSP, or equivalent) is advantageous
• Experience with enterprise-level systems, ERP software, and business applications
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop IT teams effectively
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, audit processes, and risk management
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make strategic decisions under pressure
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities at all organisational levels
• Experience with technology budgeting and vendor management
• Knowledge of customs regulations and bonded zone operational requirements is preferred
