Job description

PT Asuransi Raksa Pratikara is looking for a software engineer to help expand and enhance the company’s portfolio of software applications. Raksa’s portfolio of applications encompasses a wide range of software, including consumer-facing web applications, B2B APIs, internal servers and mobile native apps. Additionally, Raksa’s applications are deployed both on-premises as well as in the cloud. As a result, the ideal candidate will have a strong interest in learning about and working on a wide range of applications and technologies. While there is no requirement for a specific programming language for this position, experience with PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript or Python are a plus. Additionally, experience with NextJS/React, Android/iOS and serverless cloud architectures are also positives. Since Raksa’s software engineers work in small teams and utilize an agile development workflow, the ideal candidate should enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Requirements

• S1 fresh graduate from a reputable university with a minimum GPA of 2.75;
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in software development using any programming language;
• Strong understanding of fundamental software engineering concepts, algorithms and design patterns;
• Experience developing mobile applications (iOS and/or Android) is a plus;

Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon AWS, Google Compute Cloud or Microsoft Azure) and developing serverless applications is a plus;

• Passionate about learning and using new technologies in a fast-paced environment;
• Excellent collaborative and communication skills.
