- What you'll be doing
- Manage and coordinate all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods
- Oversee inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment
- Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes and systems to maximise productivity
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of warehouse staff, including supervisors and operators
- Analyse warehouse performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and customer service, to deliver a seamless customer experience
- What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior warehouse management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transportation or logistics industry
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management principles, inventory control, and distribution best practices
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to warehousing operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments
