About the role
Manage and oversee all operational activities of the factory, ensuring production targets are achieved in terms of quantity, quality, cost, and delivery. Develop and control production plans based on company needs, monitor production processes according to SOP and quality standards, and optimize the use of machinery, labor, materials, and other resources. Lead, develop, and mentor supervisors and the entire factory operational team while maintaining work discipline and positive workplace culture.
- Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all operational activities of the factory
- Ensure production targets are achieved in terms of quantity, quality, cost, and delivery
- Develop and control production plans based on company needs
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with SOP and quality standards
- Optimize the use of machinery, labor, materials, and other resources
- Control production cost efficiency and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Monitor raw material availability with relevant teams to prevent production delays
- Monitor downtime, reject rates, waste, productivity, and production results
- Ensure machinery and factory facility maintenance is performed according to schedule
- Coordinate with PPIC, Production, Quality Control, Maintenance, Warehouse, Purchasing, HR, and Finance departments
- Create and evaluate KPIs for each department under responsibility
- Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors and operational teams
- Enforce work discipline and positive workplace culture
- Ensure implementation of occupational health and safety standards
- Analyze production problems and implement corrective actions
- Promote continuous improvement to increase productivity and efficiency
- Prepare regular operational reports for management
- Provide recommendations to management regarding machinery, manpower, work processes, and factory development
- About you
- Minimum S1 degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing, with experience as Plant Manager, Factory Manager, Head of Factory, or Production Manager
- Experience leading large teams
- Understanding of production processes and factory operational management
- Capability in production planning, cost control, manpower planning, and productivity improvement
- Understanding of Quality Management and occupational health and safety fundamentals
- Strong problem analysis and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to work based on targets and KPIs
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work firmly while building good working relationships with teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Willing to be placed and work full-time at PT Naga Semut factory area, Kebumen, Central Java
