About NoraPadel
NoraPadel has been Surabaya's leading padel supplier since 2024, carrying international brands including Bullpadel, NOX, and StarVie. We're building NoraPadel into the most entertaining padel media brand in Indonesia — and we need a face for it.
We're looking for someone who comes alive the moment the camera turns on. Someone who can explain why a racket's balance point matters, keep a live audience watching for two hours straight, and make padel look like the most fun sport in the country.
Responsibilities
- Host live selling sessions on Shopee Live and TikTok Live — product explanation, audience interaction, closing
- Front on-camera content: product reviews, unboxings, court tutorials, brand campaigns
- Present in both Indonesian and English, depending on the audience and campaign
- Interview athletes, coaches, and community players at tournaments and events
- Collaborate with the content team on scripts, talking points, and episode concepts
- Maintain product knowledge across the full catalogue so you can speak with authority, unscripted
- Represent NoraPadel at offline events, tournaments, and brand activations
Requirements
Active student in semester 5 or above, or fresh graduate — Broadcasting, Communication Studies, Public Relations, Performing Arts, English Literature, or related
- Excellent public speaking
- clear articulation, good pacing, able to think and talk at the same time
- Confident and natural in front of a camera
- comfortable improvising when the script runs out
- Well-groomed, camera-ready, and professional in presentation
- High energy and stamina — live sessions can run two to three hours
- Video introducing yourself required
- (2 minutes, half Indonesian and half English, no editing) — this is the main thing we assess
- Willing to work on-site in Surabaya and travel to courts and events
- Nice to Have
- Prior experience as a live host, MC, news anchor, radio announcer, or campus event host
- Basic understanding of camera angles or video editing
- Existing social media presence with an engaged audience
- Plays padel, tennis, or badminton — or is willing to learn (we'll teach you, free)
