Marketing Executive – Marine & Industrial Automation

Job Description

• Marine Engineering and Industrial Automation company in Batam
• providing engineering products, technical services and solutions to shipyards, marine, offshore and industrial customers.
• We are looking for a proactive and results-driven
• Marketing Executive
• to develop new business opportunities, maintain strong customer relationships and support the growth of our Marine and Automation business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and expand business opportunities within the
• marine, shipyard, offshore and industrial sectors* in Batam and surrounding markets.
• Identify and approach new customers, including shipyards, ship owners, contractors and industrial companies.
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits and follow up on enquiries, quotations and ongoing opportunities.
• Work closely with the
• Project, Engineering and Commercial teams* to understand customers' technical requirements and prepare appropriate proposals.
• Follow up on submitted quotations and negotiate commercial terms to secure orders.
• Maintain an active
• sales pipeline* and provide regular updates on enquiries, quotations, potential orders and expected sales.
• Monitor market activities, customer requirements and competitors.
• Assist management in developing marketing and business development strategies.
• Follow up with customers after completion of jobs to identify additional service and business opportunities.
• Achieve agreed sales and business development targets.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in
• Marketing, Business, Engineering or a related field*.
• Minimum
• 2–3 years of B2B sales, marketing or business development experience*.
• Candidates with experience in
• marine, shipyard, offshore, engineering, electrical, automation or industrial services* will be strongly preferred.
• Existing network or customer contacts within
• Batam shipyards, marine or industrial sectors* will be an advantage.
• Able to understand customers' technical requirements and coordinate with engineering/project teams.
• Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable with customer visits and developing new accounts.
• Able to prepare sales reports, forecasts and customer follow-up reports.
• Good command of
• Bahasa Indonesia. Ability to communicate in **English* will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Based in Batam or willing to work in Batam.
