Oracle System Administrator

Manage and administer Linux/Unix servers that host Oracle Database and Oracle Grid Infrastructure.

Perform operating system administration, including user management, privilege management, file system management, storage mounting, and capacity monitoring.

Monitor server performance, CPU, memory, disk utilization, SAN/NAS storage, network connectivity, DNS, NTP, and infrastructure availability.

Support Oracle server environments, including Oracle Database Server, Oracle RAC, Oracle Grid Infrastructure, Oracle ASM, Oracle Enterprise Manager Agent, and Oracle Backup Infrastructure.

• Plan and execute OS patching, security updates, maintenance activities, and rollback procedures.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and operating system issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.

Conduct preventive maintenance through server health checks, resource utilization reviews, log analysis, capacity planning, and security compliance reviews.

Prepare operational reports, including daily monitoring reports, infrastructure health checks, incident reports, RCA reports, patch reports, and capacity planning reports.

Kualifikasi

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Linux/Unix System Administrator or Oracle System Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), or Unix administration.
• Experience supporting Oracle Database environments, Oracle RAC, Oracle Grid Infrastructure, and Oracle ASM.
• Familiar with server monitoring, performance analysis, and capacity management.
• Experience with storage technologies (SAN/NAS), multipath configuration, and file system management.
• Good understanding of OS patching, security hardening, and maintenance procedures.
• Experience troubleshooting Linux server and infrastructure issues.
• Familiarity with shell scripting is an advantage.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
