Key Responsibilities

Nurses, often referred to as Registered Nurses (RNs), are responsible for delivering high-quality patient care across various healthcare settings. Their duties include:

Patient Assessment and Monitoring: Conducting physical exams, monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature, and evaluating patient conditions to inform treatment plans.

Medication Administration: Administering prescribed medications, IVs, and other treatments safely and accurately.

Care Coordination: Collaborating with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

Documentation: Maintaining accurate medical records, documenting patient progress, and ensuring compliance with healthcare protocols.

Patient Education and Support: Educating patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care, while providing emotional support.
