- Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of industrial fitout and factory retrofit projects
- Coordinate civil, HVAC, and MEP scopes across in-house teams and subcontractors
- Interface directly with clients (often multinational manufacturers) to manage scope, schedule, and expectations
- Review and validate subcontractor quotations, BOQs, and technical designs for HVAC/MEP works
- Track project timelines, budgets, and resolve site-level discrepancies between design and as-built conditions
- Manage procurement coordination, delivery schedules, and site logistics
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements (permits, safety, technical standards)
- Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to management and clients
- About you
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management within the construction industry
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC and MEP systems — design coordination, installation sequencing, and commissioning
- Prior experience with a general contractor, managing multi-discipline projects (civil + MEP + HVAC)
- Proven track record on industrial, factory, or large-scale commercial projects — references from past projects strongly preferred
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) — role involves direct communication with international clients
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, comfortable managing multiple subcontractors and moving parts simultaneously
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and permitting processes is a plus
- Based in or willing to relocate to Batam
