Purchasing Supervisor

PT Multi Medika Internasional Tbk (MMI), a company specializing in healthcare products and consumer goods, is seeking an experienced Purchasing professional to join our team and contribute to building a stronger, more agile, and continuously improving supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the purchasing department.
• Ensure the availability of materials to support production and sales requirements.
• Manage Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and monitor outstanding POs.
• Coordinate closely with PPIC, Production, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while conducting regular supplier performance evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Identify potential supply delay risks and coordinate mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare Purchasing operational reports and provide insights on outstanding issues to the Head of Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Purchasing Supervisor in a manufacturing or FMCG company.
• Strong understanding of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven experience in supplier management and supplier performance evaluation.
• Proficient in using ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookup/XLOOKUP functions, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin will be an advantage.
• Preferred Qualifications
• ⭐ Knowledge of face mask materials, plastic packaging, corrugated paper packaging, and other materials supporting face mask production.
• ⭐ Experience working with both local and international suppliers.
• ⭐ Proven track record in implementing cost-saving initiatives, supplier development programs, or continuous improvement projects.
