Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Engineer to own the quality assurance process across our mobile application, backend services, and web-based admin tools. This role is responsible for manual and automated testing, UAT coordination, production issue triage, and maintaining the quality bar for every release.

• Key Responsibilities
• Plan and execute manual test cases for mobile (Android), backend APIs, and web admin features across staging and production environments.
• Own the UAT process end-to-end: define test plans, execute test cases, document results, and sign off on releases.
• Develop and maintain sanity checklists, regression suites, and per-feature test cases for all critical user flows.
• Triage production bugs reported by operations and field teams: reproduce issues, document steps, assign severity, and route to the appropriate engineer.
• Participate in release planning and provide go/no-go recommendations based on test results and outstanding defects.
• Coordinate with backend, mobile, and frontend engineers to verify fixes, validate edge cases, and confirm expected behaviour before deployment.
• Test third-party integrations including webhook flows, status propagation, and end-to-end order lifecycle scenarios.
• Monitor post-release quality via crash reports, error logs, and user-reported issues; flag regressions early.
• Write and maintain test documentation including test plans, bug reports, and release-readiness checklists.
• Support the transition from manual to automated testing by identifying high-value test cases for automation and contributing to test script development.
• Required Qualifications
• 3–5 years of professional QA experience, including hands-on testing of mobile applications (Android) and web applications.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies: functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Experience writing clear, reproducible bug reports with steps, expected vs actual results, and severity classification.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, or equivalent) for REST and webhook validation.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, or equivalent).
• Ability to read and understand API documentation, log files, and basic SQL queries for test data validation.
• Strong written and verbal communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Based in Jakarta. This is a work-from-office position, five days per week.
• Nice to Have
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Espresso, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and how automated tests integrate into build and deployment workflows.
• Experience testing real-time or event-driven systems (webhooks, message queues, status callbacks).
• Basic scripting ability in Python, JavaScript, or Bash for test automation or data validation.
• Experience with Google Play Console for monitoring app rollout quality and crash-free rates.
