JOB DESCRIPTION
- Vendor Sourcing (Assisting Procurement)
- Vendor Sourcing and Maintain Vendor List by assisting Procurement
- Providing Quantities and all technical requirement to Procurement
- Quantity Surveying & Cost Estimate
- Measurements and Preparation of BOQ (including liaison with external QS Consultants)
- Preparation of Cost Data and assisting in Cost Plan preparation
- Leads in Value Engineering Exercise for alternative materials and construction methods.
- Working with team and related department/consultant in providing best option for projects
- Identify and communicate potential problems with related departments.
- Tender Management & Contract (Including liaison with external QSs)
- Lead/Assisting in Tender Preparation and Tender Management
- Lead/Assisting in preparation of Contract Documents
- Post Contract Management (Including liaison with external QSs)
- Post Contract administration and final accounts settlement
- Price Comparison and Analysis
- Cost and Payments Monitoring
- Verifiy and evaluate detail estimations and preparation of VO / VE
REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in engineering
- peak English fluently is a must
- Minimum 5 years experience as Quantity Surveyor
- Resourceful and able to establish a network with local vendors
- Familiar and have good understanding on Quantity Surveying process
- Have exposure and good understanding in Tender management
- Have exposure and good understanding in Contract management
- Possesses integrity, initiative and drive
- Good initiative and able to work with Teams of different department.
- Team player with good hands-on multi-tasking abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- In-depth understanding of construction practice in Batam is a plus.
- Able to use Microsoft program, AutoCAD, other QS program to perform the works.
- Able to use Electronic Measurement
