About the role

• We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused
• Sales Associate
• to join the Rip Curl team at our Uluwatu location in South Kuta, Bali. This is a
• full-time position

offering an exciting opportunity to work in the dynamic retail and consumer products sector. You will be at the heart of our store operations, delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales whilst representing the Rip Curl brand values. This role is based on-site at our South Kuta, Bali location, where you will engage directly with customers and contribute to creating a vibrant shopping experience.

• Key responsibilities
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting and attending to customer needs in a friendly and professional manner

Demonstrate product knowledge of Rip Curl merchandise, including clothing, footwear and accessories, and make informed recommendations to customers

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
• Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards to ensure the retail space is attractive and well-organised
• Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management and flag any discrepancies or issues
• Achieve individual and team sales targets whilst maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints and returns with professionalism and resolve issues appropriately
• Participate in store promotional activities and campaigns to drive customer engagement and sales
• Maintain compliance with store policies, procedures and health and safety regulations
• What we're looking for
• Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably within fashion, lifestyle or sports retail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
• A genuine passion for the Rip Curl brand and lifestyle, or a keen interest in surf and action sports culture
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple tasks
• Numeracy skills and comfort using point-of-sale and retail management systems
• A proactive, can-do attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and peak trading periods
• Strong organisational and attention-to-detail capabilities
• Excellent presentation and personal grooming standards aligned with the Rip Curl brand image
