As an SDE-SR Level 1- you would be required to have

• Experience in writing shell scripts and Groovy/Python. Having a Java / Golang background is a plus.
• knowledge in AWS. GCP/Azure cloud providers are a plus.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (preferably AWS EKS), networking, and CDN.
• Experience in solutioning and implementing scalable and performant architectures. Knowledge of microservices is a plus.
• Have knowledge in observability (logging, monitoring and alerting) platforms using New Relic/Datadog, Dynatrace,  Sygnoz, etc.

Understanding of deployment strategy using CI/CD tools like Jenkins & ArgoCD. Knowledge of API gateways or service meshes is a plus (preferably Istio).

• Expertise in SCM (GitLab/GitHub), code reviews, code analysis (using SonarQube) and the GitOps approach.
• Hands-on experience building Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform (HashiCorp).
• Knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL database administration on AWS (RDS).
• Good understanding of Kafka, SNS & MQTT.
• Exposure to SRE/DevOps practices using an Agile approach (DSMs, KPIs) is a plus.
• DevSecOps is a plus.
• Exposure to AI tools Claude, Gemini, OpenAI, etc.

• 2+ years of industry experience
• knowledge on AWS
• Interested in new tools/ tech stacks in SRE/DevOps on AWS.
