Job Description
- Develop and maintain web applications using
- Node.js
- and
- Express
- Implement service routing
- at the
- BFF layer based
- on
- user
- or
- organization-level feature flags
- Integrate
- and
- manage REST APIs
- , including error handling, timeout, and retry mechanisms.
- Maintain consistent session structures and data contracts during system migration.
- Handle service status, processing indicators, timeout scenarios, and errors from new systems.
- Improve existing application error handling when required to
- support the migration process
- Support automated testing, SIT, UAT, and rapid issue resolution during the pilot phase.
- Job Requirements
- Minimum 6 years
- of experience in web application development.
- Strong proficiency in
- Node.js and Express
- Experience with server-side templating such as
EJS
- and client-side JavaScript.
- Strong experience integrating
- REST APIs
- , including error handling, timeout, and retry mechanisms.
- Good understanding of
- session management and web application security
- Experience with
- Backend for Frontend (BFF)
- architecture and feature flag implementation is highly preferred.
- Experience
- handling gradual migration of legacy applications
- without changing the existing user interface is an advantage.
- Experience with Java or test automation
- is a plus.
- Minimum
- Bachelor's degree
- in
- Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics Engineering
- , or a related field.
