- We're Hiring – Senior Staff Legal
- Abad Resources is looking for a talented and experienced professional to join our Legal Team.
- 🔹 Position: Senior Staff Legal
- 📍 Location: Mega Kuningan, South Jakarta
- 🏢 Industry: Mining & Energy
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including Joint Venture Agreements, Offtake Agreements, Mining Services Agreements, land acquisition agreements, heavy equipment procurement agreements, and other corporate legal documents.
- Ensure the Company's compliance with applicable mining regulations, including IUP/IUPK, RKAB, OSS-RBA, environmental permits (AMDAL/UKL-UPL), and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Handle corporate legal matters, including preparation of GMS (RUPS) documents, amendments to the Articles of Association, business licenses, and corporate governance documentation.
- Manage licensing processes, renewals, and reporting to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), BKPM/OSS, and other government authorities.
- Provide legal advice related to mining operations, land acquisition, community relations, and dispute risk mitigation.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel in litigation, arbitration, or other legal proceedings when required.
- Conduct legal research and provide practical legal solutions to support business operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Law.
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience as a Legal professional; experience in the mining industry will be a strong advantage.
- Highly proficient in drafting and reviewing legal agreements with strong legal drafting skills.
- Experienced in using the OSS-RBA system and handling corporate licensing processes.
- Good understanding of Indonesian corporate law, mining regulations, environmental regulations, and business licensing.
- Possess strong analytical thinking, negotiation, and legal research skills.
- Fast learner, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written & spoken) are preferred.
