Software Engineer (Backend)

Tanggung Jawab

• Develop, maintain, and update backend services and APIs for IntelliBron's product suite.
• Take full responsibility for assigned features from feature design through to production deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable, and tested code, including unit and integration tests for core logic and edge cases.
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and QA engineers to define API contracts and resolve integration issues directly.

Use AI development tools where appropriate to increase coding efficiency, ensuring all generated code is thoroughly tested and reviewed before release.

Follow secure coding standards, implement standard identity management protocols, and address security issues flagged by automated scan tools.

• Manage and optimize database queries, caching, messaging, and API routing for system stability and performance.
• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure engineering quality and assist team members when technical obstacles arise.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs across development and production environments.

Kualifikasi

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development, with a track record of supporting production software systems.
• Languages & Frameworks: Strong working knowledge of Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Databases: Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB), caching systems (Redis/Valkey), and search indexes (OpenSearch).
• APIs & Messaging: Experience building RESTful APIs, configuring API gateways (APISIX), and working with message queues (RabbitMQ).
• Infrastructure & Deployment: Familiarity with Kubernetes (RKE2 or GKE) and automated pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
• Security: Practical knowledge of authentication protocols (Keycloak, OIDC, JWT) and automated security scanning tools (such as Aikido).
• Practical technical abilities, strong logical reasoning, and a reliable approach to task execution.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Ability to work independently with reasonable decision-making capabilities and clear judgment on when to escalate issues.
• Willingness to collaborate across teams, give and receive constructive feedback during code reviews, and support shared team goals.
