The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
Job Description
- Lead and manage daily operations across Sortation Center’s special handling area in multiple facilities within the assigned region
- Oversee operational budget, expenditure, and financial performance within the assigned region
- Achieve operational targets aligned with overall company goals and objectives
- Coach and develop team members according to standard learning and development guidelines
- Ensure the operations team adheres to company standard operating procedures and work instructions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any major
5 years of work experience in an express or logistics company, with exposure to managing distribution center and inventory control in multiple areas or regions
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with familiarity in continuous improvement practices as an advantage
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Hands-on leadership style, leading by example and actively supporting operational solutions on the ground
- Experience with transport or freight management systems, and project management will be an advantage
- Willingness to travel to other cities or regions as needed
