We are looking for a Finance Supervisor to join a mining contractor operation in Berau, East Kalimantan. The role supervises day-to-day site finance activities, ensuring accurate financial recording, reporting and compliance in support of mining operations.
- Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site finance and accounting operations, including cash/bank management, AP/AR and petty cash.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with company policy and accounting standards.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports, reconciliations and site financial closing.
- Monitor site operational costs and coordinate with cost control/operations teams on budget performance.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, internal controls and company SOPs at site level.
- Supervise and coach site finance/admin staff.
- Coordinate with head office finance team for consolidation and audit requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning for the site.
Requirements
- Prior working experience with a mining contractor is required.
- Solid understanding of site-level finance and accounting operations in a mining/contractor environment.
- Experience supervising a finance/accounting team.
- Familiar with accounting systems (SAP or similar) and standard financial controls.
- Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
- Good leadership, coordination and communication skills.
- Willing to be based on-site in Berau.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
