UX Copywriter

Role Description

Content writers create user-friendly text for devices, apps, and other products to navigate users around a product and help them complete their desired actions. They set the tone for content and drive cohesive product narratives across multiple platforms and touchpoints. They work with a variety of UX design-related jobs including researchers, product managers, engineers, marketing, and customer operations to help establish connective language and a unified voice for the users.

• Key Responsibilities
• Work with designers, managers a find written and visual design solutions for digital services
• Write from the user's perspective, in plain English
• Make complex language and processes easy to understand
• Produce a consistent tone of voice guidelines for a product
• Design content to meet user needs
• Design appropriate usability tests for content

Communicate content ideas or usability research to managers, designers and stakeholders (e.g. deliver presentations, facilitate workshops or give talks)

• Manage and ensure the effectiveness content guidelines
• Collaborate across the entire project team to improve copywriting and communication
• Prerequisites
• Have a degree or diploma in Communication, Design or a related field
• Have UX writing, content design and content strategy experience on digital products or digital platforms
• Possess a good portfolio that demonstrates creativity and craft in writing for digital products or media
• Have strong conceptual skills with knowledge of how copy relates to design and user experience

Be a team player and have experience working closely with a UX team of Interaction/UX designers, Visual designers and UX researchers to deliver the best user experience

Experience working in a cross-functional and agile development team would be a bonus
