Website Quality Assurance (QA)

Responsibilities

Perform functional, regression, responsive, cross-browser, and cross-device testing across website and e-commerce projects.

Validate website features, user flows, and e-commerce functionalities against project requirements, acceptance criteria, and approved Figma designs.

• Create and execute test scenarios, test cases, UAT checklists, and clear, reproducible bug reports.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression and smoke testing before and after deployment.
• Test websites from both frontend and CMS admin perspectives across platforms such as Shopify, WordPress/WooCommerce, or similar platforms.

Perform basic API and third-party integration testing using Postman and browser Developer Tools, including payment, shipping, webhooks, analytics tracking, and other external services.

Conduct basic website performance checks using Lighthouse and PageSpeed Insights.

Support the UAT process by validating reported issues and distinguishing bugs from content issues, design revisions, change requests, and environment-related issues.

• Collaborate with Developers, Designers, and Project Managers to ensure issues are resolved and projects meet agreed quality standards.
• Manage testing activities across multiple website projects based on project priorities and timelines.

Requirements

Familiar with e-commerce platforms and ecosystems such as Shopify, WordPress/WooCommerce, Magento, or similar platforms.

Experience testing third-party integrations, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, webhooks, analytics tracking, Meta Pixel, email notifications, or other external services.

• Familiar with basic website performance testing using Lighthouse and PageSpeed Insights.
• Familiar with UI or end-to-end automation testing tools such as Playwright or Cypress.
• Previous experience working in a digital agency or handling multiple website projects simultaneously.
