About the role
- As the
- Accounting Officer
- at
- PT Samindo Resources Tbk
, you will support the company's Accounting & Tax function by ensuring accurate financial recording, reconciliation, and reporting in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards. This full-time position is based in South Jakarta, Jakarta.
- What you'll be doing
- Record daily accounting transactions accurately and timely.
- Prepare and post journal entries into the accounting system.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Perform bank, intercompany, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting documentation and records.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests by providing supporting documents.
- Ensure compliance with PSAK, company accounting policies, and internal procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments regarding accounting transactions and supporting documents.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
- What we're looking for
- Proficiency in English (oral & written) is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience
- in accounting.
- Experience in shipping company is preferable.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and PSAK.
- Experience using ERP or accounting systems (SAP is an advantage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Able to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
