Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the company's vehicle management strategy to maximize fleet availability, utilization, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Lead end-to-end vehicle lifecycle management, including vehicle acquisition, deployment, maintenance, refurbishment, and disposal.
- Oversee workshop operations, preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and service quality across all operational locations.
- Establish maintenance standards, SOPs, KPIs, and governance to improve fleet performance and reduce vehicle downtime.
- Monitor fleet health, maintenance costs, repair quality, spare parts consumption, and asset performance through data-driven decision making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance efficiency, asset utilization, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Build and manage strategic relationships with OEMs, dealerships, workshop partners, and maintenance vendors.
Collaborate with Operations, Driver Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders to support business expansion and operational excellence.
- Lead, coach, and develop high-performing vehicle management and workshop teams across multiple regions.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and applicable government requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.
Minimum 15 years of experience in fleet management, vehicle management, automotive, logistics, transportation, mobility, or related industries.
- Proven experience leading large-scale fleet or workshop operations at a national or regional level.
- Strong expertise in vehicle lifecycle management, maintenance strategy, workshop operations, fleet optimization, and asset management.
- Demonstrated success in improving operational performance, cost efficiency, and fleet productivity.
- Strong leadership with experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and external partners.
- Experience working with data, KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting.
- Experience in ride-hailing, mobility, logistics, commercial transportation, fleet rental, or automotive companies is highly preferred.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
