CLAY Bali is a new premium restaurant and lounge opening in Ubud. Our concept is inspired by the Silk Road, fire, earth, warm hospitality, tea, and long evenings around the table.

• We are looking for a
• friendly, confident, well-presented Hostess
• to become the first point of contact for our guests and create a warm and professional first impression.
• This position is open to female candidates only.
• Main Responsibilities
• Welcome and greet guests in a warm and professional manner.
• Manage guest arrivals and seating.
• Manage table reservations and waiting lists.
• Answer incoming calls and reservation inquiries.
• Confirm reservations and communicate important information to guests.
• Coordinate table availability with the Restaurant Manager and service team.
• Maintain accurate guest and reservation information.
• Assist guests with questions about the restaurant, menu, events, and facilities.
• Communicate special requests, celebrations, and VIP reservations to the relevant departments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
• Support smooth guest flow during busy service periods.
• Handle guest concerns politely and involve management when necessary.
• Maintain professional appearance and communication standards throughout the shift.
• Help create a welcoming atmosphere from the moment guests arrive until they leave.
• Key Requirements
• Female candidates only.
• Previous experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, Guest Relations Officer, or similar guest-facing position is preferred.
• Restaurant, hotel, beach club, or hospitality experience is an advantage.
• Friendly, confident, and professional communication style.
• Well-groomed and presentable appearance.
• Strong guest-service skills.
• Good spoken English.
• Fluent Bahasa Indonesia.
• Additional languages are an advantage.
• Comfortable communicating with international guests.
• Able to remain calm, polite, and organized during busy service periods.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.
• Responsible, punctual, and disciplined.
• Based in Bali or ready to work in Ubud.
