IT System Administrator

As a System Administrator in the Infrastructure Operations team, you will maintain the availability and performance of on-premises and cloud infrastructure. The role covers system monitoring, routine administration, incident troubleshooting, user and access administration, backup verification, and support for VMware, Hyperconverged Infrastructure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, mail servers, IP-PBX, access control systems, and AWS, GCP, or Azure environments.

Responsibilities

System Maintenance

Perform routine system monitoring to ensure the integrity and availability of all IT systems and components, including verifying the completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.

System Configuration

Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

Network and Communication Management

Ensure continuous network connectivity of all systems, maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.

Security and Access Control

Perform approved access administration, apply established security controls, review access records, support remediation activities, and escalate suspected security incidents in accordance with security policies and procedures.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

Diagnose and resolve incidents involving hardware, operating systems, applications, networks, and infrastructure services. Replace defective components when authorized, document the resolution, and escalate issues that require specialist or vendor support.

User Administration

Manage user setup, installations, and configurations, maintaining a secure systems environment.

Project Support

Support infrastructure projects by completing assigned implementation, testing, documentation, and handover activities in accordance with approved designs, security requirements, and change procedures.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field.
• Minimum
• 2 years of experience
• in system administration, DevOps, network engineering, or infrastructure operations.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
• Proven experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory, and Exchange Server.
• Proficiency in VMware ESXi, vSphere, and Hyperconverged Infrastructure solutions.
• Willing to be placed at HQ Office (WU Tower), Bandung, West Java.
