About the role

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Kitchen Team Member to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing food according to our recipes and standards, maintaining cleanliness and food safety, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen.

• Key responsibilities
• Prepare and cook food according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, portioning, marinating, and other mise en place.
• Ensure all food is prepared consistently and efficiently during service.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, freshness, taste, and presentation.
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Keep workstations, kitchen equipment, storage areas, and utensils clean and organized.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Properly store and label food items according to food safety standards.
• Minimize food waste through proper preparation, storage, and portion control.
• Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen supplies when required.
• About you
• Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Able to follow recipes, instructions, and established procedures.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
