About the role

• We are seeking a talented
• MEP Engineer

to join our team at Konstruksi. This is a full-time position based in Bali, where you will play a crucial role in designing, planning, and overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for our construction projects. As an MEP Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all building systems are integrated efficiently, meet regulatory standards, and support the overall structural integrity of our developments. This role is integral to delivering high-quality construction projects that meet both client expectations and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop MEP systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire safety systems in compliance with building codes and standards

• Create detailed MEP drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using CAD software and BIM platforms
• Coordinate MEP systems with structural and architectural designs to ensure seamless integration
• Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges
• Prepare cost estimates and material schedules for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely procurement and installation of MEP systems
• Monitor construction progress and quality control to ensure MEP installations comply with design specifications
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective measures during construction and commissioning phases
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and energy efficiency requirements
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and maintain accurate records of all design changes and approvals
• What we're looking for
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience as an MEP Engineer in the construction industry
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with BIM modelling
• In-depth knowledge of MEP design principles, building codes, and industry standards relevant to Indonesia
• Experience with HVAC systems design, electrical load calculations, and plumbing system planning
• Excellent project management and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Effective communication skills in both English and Indonesian
• Professional Engineering Licence (PEI) or equivalent registration is highly desirable
• Experience with green building certifications (LEED, Green Building Council Indonesia) is preferred
