that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As Restaurant Supervisor, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring seamless service delivery, maintaining high standards of hospitality, and leading our front-of-house team. This position is integral to upholding Kala Group's reputation for excellence and creating memorable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the restaurant floor, ensuring efficient service delivery throughout all service periods

Managing and motivating the front-of-house team, including hosts, servers, and support staff, whilst maintaining professional standards and positive team dynamics

• Training and developing staff members to ensure they deliver consistent, high-quality service in line with company standards and procedures
• Monitoring table management, guest seating arrangements, and service pacing to optimise guest satisfaction and operational efficiency

Handling guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and diplomacy, resolving issues promptly to ensure positive outcomes

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, bar, and related service spaces throughout service
• Assisting with inventory management, stock rotation, and reporting on restaurant supplies and equipment needs
• Collaborating with the kitchen team and management to coordinate special events, private functions, and themed dining experiences
• Implementing and adhering to health, safety, and hygiene regulations to create a secure environment for guests and staff
• Reporting to management on daily operations, guest feedback, and identifying opportunities for service improvement
• What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar supervisory role within the hospitality and tourism industry, preferably in a fine dining or upscale casual setting

• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire, motivate, and develop staff members
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with guests and team members at all levels
• Comprehensive knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, and hospitality best practices
• Outstanding customer service orientation with the ability to anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Proficiency in restaurant management systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology
• Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, wine pairings, and menu details to assist guests and staff
• Fluency in English; additional languages (particularly Indonesian or Mandarin) are advantageous
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by the business
• Certification in food safety or hospitality management is preferred
