At least 3 years of experience in maintaining sheet metal stamping dies for home appliances
Proficient in reading CAD drawings; able to independently analyze process defects such as stamping deformation and springback, and repair dies;
Proficient in die edge grinding, insert replacement, spring replacement, and die clearance adjustment;
Understanding of sheet metal bending and pre-painting process requirements, with the ability to collaborate on improving product appearance defects;
Strong cross-departmental communication skills; ability to independently lead die modification projects; experience in a home appliance manufacturing facility is preferred.
Responsibilities
Perform regular maintenance and repairs on stamping dies to resolve issues such as burrs, deformation, cracking, and dimensional deviations;
Establish a sheet metal die inventory system to manage die storage, maintenance, and repair cycles, thereby reducing die wear and tear;
Collaborate with production and quality control teams to address cosmetic defects in sheet metal parts and improve the yield rate prior to painting.
Proficient in operating mold repair equipment such as grinders, milling machines, radial drill presses, and TIG welders.
