Tax Manager (Chinese)

• We are currently looking for an experienced
• Tax Manager
• to join our Indonesia finance team and oversee tax compliance, tax risk management, audits, and tax-related advisory matters.
• Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee the company's tax compliance and reporting activities in accordance with Indonesian tax regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of monthly and annual tax returns.
• Monitor changes in Indonesian tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on business operations.
• Manage tax audits, tax assessments, tax disputes, and communications with the Indonesian tax authorities.
• Provide tax advice and support to management and relevant business functions.
• Support tax planning and optimization initiatives while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
• Review business transactions, agreements, and company activities from a tax perspective.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors, auditors, and other relevant parties when required.
• Monitor tax payments, reconciliations, and tax-related financial records.
• Identify potential tax risks and develop appropriate mitigation measures.
• Lead and manage the local tax team and support the overall finance function.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant tax experience
• , with prior supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of
• Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and tax compliance requirements
• Experience handling tax audits, tax assessments, tax disputes, and tax authority matters is preferred.
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese
• is required.
• Working proficiency in
• English or Bahasa Indonesia
• is required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in
• logistics, transportation, e-commerce, retail, or other fast-paced industries
• is an advantage.
• Brevet A & B
• or other relevant professional tax certification is preferred.
