Head of Operations Mining

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in mining operations, with strong exposure to bauxite, silica, and/or coal mining.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end mining operations and mining supply chain activities.
• Experienced in mining production, hauling, stockpile, port operations, and mineral shipment.

Strong knowledge of Strategic Operations Management, Mining Operations Management, Budgeting & Cost Control, Supply Chain & Logistics Management, Project Management, Leadership & People Management, and Regulatory Compliance.

• Strong understanding of Good Mining Practice, Mining Safety, and Environmental Management.
• Possess Pengawas Operasional Utama (POU) Mining Certification.
• Possess relevant Mining Safety Certification in accordance with ESDM regulations.
• Good understanding of Indonesian mining regulations and government requirements.
• English proficiency is required.

Job Description

• Develop and implement operational strategies in line with the company's business targets.
• Lead and oversee end-to-end mining operations, including mining, processing, hauling, stockpile, port operations, and mineral shipment.
• Manage mining operations covering bauxite, silica, and coal commodities.
• Ensure production, sales, and shipment targets are achieved according to the company's business plan.
• Oversee short-, medium-, and long-term production planning and execution.
• Ensure all operations comply with technical mining standards, quality standards, safety requirements, and operational specifications.
• Control operational costs and optimize the utilization of manpower, equipment, and other company resources.
• Ensure the implementation of Mining Safety, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), and Environmental Management across all operational areas.
• Ensure compliance with applicable mining regulations, permits, ESDM requirements, and government regulations.
• Evaluate operational performance and establish corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify operational risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to managers and department heads in managing mining operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government authorities, customers, contractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
• Oversee the mining supply chain from production, hauling, stockpile, port operations, through to final
