The role
We are looking for an organized and people-oriented Talent & Culture Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operations at La Favela. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone early in their HR career who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a dynamic hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment coordination — posting vacancies, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for all team members
- Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR documentation accurately
- Track attendance, leave, and overtime data in coordination with payroll
- Help organize training sessions, team activities, and employee engagement initiatives
- Act as a friendly first point of contact for employee queries and day-to-day HR matters
- Support compliance with Indonesian labor law and internal HR policies
- Assist the Group T&C Manager with reporting, audits, and group-wide HR projects
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in HR, administration, or a people operations role (hospitality a plus)
- Basic understanding of Indonesian labor law and HR processes
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and document management skills
- Warm communicator in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
- Proficient in MS Office or Google Workspace; experience with HRIS is a bonus
- A team player who takes initiative and can manage multiple tasks at once
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field preferred
