- Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily operational activities across manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution functions
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity
- Monitor and maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies
- Manage and supervise operational staff, providing leadership, training, and performance feedback
- Coordinate with other departments including production, supply chain, and quality assurance to ensure seamless operations
- Analyse operational metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure optimal allocation and cost control
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices within operational processes
- Troubleshoot operational issues and develop solutions to maintain productivity and quality standards
- Report on operational performance to senior management and provide recommendations for strategic initiatives
- What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operational management or similar leadership role within manufacturing or consumer goods industry
- Strong knowledge of operational best practices, lean management, and process optimisation
- Proven experience in managing teams, staff supervision, and performance management
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Proficiency in using operational management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively across departments
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Fluency in Indonesian and English language
- Willingness to work on-site at our Medan facility
