Receptionist – Mad Monkey Uluwatu

Position Summary
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and service-oriented Receptionist to be the face of Mad Monkey Uluwatu. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations at the front desk.
- Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm, professional manner
- Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Handle reservations and process payments accurately
- Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Provide information about local attractions, transport, and events
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness
- Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Promote hostel events, tours, and additional services
- Ensure the reception area is clean and organized at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Friendly, positive, and outgoing personality
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Basic computer skills (booking systems, email, POS systems)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of the Uluwatu/Bali area is an advantage
